Verstappen Dominates Belgian GP Sprint Race in Red Bull’s New Era

Max Verstappen launched Red Bull’s new era with victory in the Belgian GP sprint race — the driver demonstrated his Red Bull’s superiority by overtaking Oscar Piastri at Les Combes on the first lap.

The 15-lap contest witnessed an intense battle at the front — Charles Leclerc briefly claimed third position from Lando Norris, but Norris reclaimed his spot on the fourth lap.

Despite running used medium tires compared to the McLaren duo’s new rubber, Verstappen maintained his lead. Piastri made several approaches but Red Bull’s straight-line speed proved too challenging to overcome.

  • Esteban Ocon finished fifth
  • Carlos Sainz secured sixth position
  • Oliver Bearman scored points in seventh
  • Isack Hadjar finished eighth

Pierre Gasly failed to start due to a water leak issue, while qualifying for the main Belgian GP race is scheduled for 16:00 local time.
