Veda Ega Pratama Crashes Out Of JuniorGP Estoril After Comeback Ride

Strong start ends in disappointment

According to Astra Honda Racing Team, Veda Ega Pratama suffered a crash during the JuniorGP round at Estoril, cutting short what had been an impressive race.

The 16-year-old Indonesian rider started in 10th position and surged to 4th place within two laps, showcasing remarkable pace and control in the early stages of the race.

Penalty and recovery before the fall

Despite being handed a penalty that demoted him to 13th, Veda quickly fought back and climbed to 5th place, matching the pace of eventual winner Brian Uriarte.

“I made a mistake at the second-to-last corner and had a highside. I think another rider touched my leg, but I’m okay,” said Veda, reflecting on the incident.

Crash forces early exit

The crash occurred with eight laps to go at Estoril Circuit, Portugal. Despite showing top-tier potential, Veda Ega Pratama was forced to retire from the race, ending his day on a disappointing note for Astra Honda Racing Team.
