Veda Ega Pratama claims dramatic victory at Red Bull Rookies Cup Italy

Veda Ega Pratama has achieved another remarkable success in Race 2 of the 2025 Red Bull Rookies Cup at Mugello Circuit, Italy.

The young rider from Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta — who initially struggled outside the top 10 — demonstrated exceptional determination in the 13-lap race.

The turning point came in the final five laps — Veda began showing impressive performance by overtaking his competitors one by one until reaching the front position.

Competition peaked in the final lap when Veda had to fight hard against Malaysian rider Hakim Danish — the current championship leader. The intense duel ended with Veda’s narrow victory by 0.011 seconds right at the finish line.

This success completes Veda’s perfect weekend at Mugello following his previous victory in Race 1.
