Vanenburg Cuts Two Goalkeepers from Indonesia U-23 National Team Camp

According to team manager Ahmed Zaki Iskandar, coach Gerald Vanenburg has removed two goalkeepers from the Indonesia U-23 national team squad currently undergoing training camp.

The two goalkeepers who had to leave the training center are Husna Al Malik from Persik and Putra Sheva Sanggasi from Persib — leaving 28 players from the initial 30 called up.

“Two goalkeepers were cut yesterday,” stated Ahmed Zaki Iskandar.

This decision was made as part of Young Garuda’s preparation for the ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 which will take place in three weeks — a tournament that serves as an important target for the Indonesia U-23 national team.
