Vanenburg cuts two goalkeepers from Indonesia U-23 national team ahead of ASEAN Cup

Indonesia U-23 national team manager Ahmed Zaki Iskandar has confirmed coach Gerald Vanenburg’s decision to cut two goalkeepers from the squad — Husna Al Malik Riwani from Persik Kediri and Putra Sheva Sanggasi from Persib Bandung.

From the six goalkeepers initially called up, four players remain in the squad:

  • Cahya Supriadi (PSIM Yogyakarta)
  • Erlangga Setyo Dwi (PSPS Pekanbaru)
  • Muhammad Ardiansyah (PSM Makassar)
  • Daffa Fasya (Borneo FC)

The four remaining goalkeepers are now training with the team in Jakarta — while Riwani and Sanggasi, who had arrived in the capital, must accept the coach’s decision to not continue with the training camp.
