Valentino Rossi Impresses in Le Mans 24 Hours Qualifying

According to Crash.net, Valentino Rossi continues to demonstrate his growing prowess in car racing — this time with a remarkable performance at the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours qualifying.

The former MotoGP rider successfully guided the WRT team’s BMW M4 GT3 Evo number 46 to third starting position in LMGT3 class — an impressive achievement at the 13.6-kilometer Circuit de la Sarthe.

During Hyperpole 2, Rossi recorded a best time of 3 minutes 54.966 seconds — an achievement made more notable considering his silver license status competing against platinum-class drivers.

Rossi’s teammate, Ahmad Al Harthy, who led the first session, offered special praise:

“They were amazing, Kelvin did a great job, the session was certainly much more difficult. For Vale, to set such a time, honestly, that was a truly fantastic lap.”

Team WRT #46 showed consistent performance throughout qualifying sessions — with Kelvin van der Linde, the most experienced driver in the team, also setting the fastest time in Hyperpole 1.
