Prediksi Uzbekistan vs Qatar di Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026 (10.06.2025)

On Tuesday, June 10 at 20:45 WIB, the Uzbekistan national team will host Qatar at the Milliy Stadium in Tashkent in the final, tenth round of Group A in the third stage of the Asian qualification for the 2026 World Cup. The hosts have already secured their place in the main tournament of the World Cup. The visitors, meanwhile, are guaranteed to progress to the fourth stage of continental qualification.

Let’s make a prediction for the Uzbekistan – Qatar match, considering that neither team has significant tournament motivation. Bookmakers favor the home team as the favorite. Betting on the “White Wolves” to win is priced at 2.09, for a draw at 3.61, and for the “Maroon” to win at 3.48. Over 2.5 goals is priced at 1.99, suggesting that the match isn’t expected to be particularly high-scoring. A bet on both teams to score is priced at 1.81.

Uzbekistan

Timur Kapadze’s team has already made history as the first Uzbekistan squad to qualify for the World Cup. We shouldn’t underestimate the contributions of forwards like Eldor Shomurodov from Roma, Jaloliddin Masharipov from Esteghlal, and Abbosbek Fayzullaev from CSKA, but the main credit goes to their disciplined and solid defense. In their last four home games, the “White Wolves” collected ten points, scoring only three goals! It’s easy to calculate that they haven’t conceded a single goal at home.

Qatar

Julen Lopetegui was appointed as coach in May of this year, after it became clear that the “Maroon” had failed to qualify for the World Cup through the third round of qualifying. Yet, Qatar are the holders of the last two AFC Asian Cups. After the arrival of the new coach, they won 1-0 at home against the group favorites, Iran. But that’s just a small consolation, as now they face a challenging preparation for the fourth stage of qualification. Among the squad, Almoez Ali from Al-Duhail and Akram Afif from Al-Sadd stand out as key forwards. Together, they scored the majority of Qatar’s goals in this qualifying campaign. However, defense has been their weak spot: Qatar conceded 21 goals in nine matches — the highest in the group.

Statistics and Head-to-Head

Last year, the teams played to a 1-1 draw in the Asian Cup quarterfinals, with Qatar winning on penalties. In the first leg of this qualifying campaign, Qatar won at home 3-2.

Prediction

Uzbekistan have established a solid defensive game, but in this upcoming match, there’s no point in focusing only on keeping a clean sheet. Both teams have Asian-level star attackers, so we predict that both teams will score, with odds of 1.81.
