Uzbekistan advances to U-17 Asian Cup final after defeating North Korea

Uzbekistan U-17 national team advanced to the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup final after defeating North Korea 3-0 at King Fahd Sports City Stadium, Taif.

Uzbekistan — who previously defeated UAE 3-1 in the previous round — took the lead through Khasanov’s goal in the 31st minute.

The situation became more difficult for North Korea — who had earlier defeated Indonesia 6-0 — when Kang Myong Bom received a red card in the 41st minute.

Playing with a numerical advantage, Uzbekistan added two more goals in the second half through:

• Rustamov in the 62nd minute
• Shukurullaev in the 65th minute
