Ahead of the Concacaf Nations League finals, the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) has made significant squad adjustments following injuries to three key players. As reported by ESPN, Antonee Robinson, Johnny Cardoso, and Auston Trusty have been forced to withdraw.

Coach Mauricio Pochettino now has several intriguing replacement options. Diego Luna, the 21-year-old Real Salt Lake midfielder recently showed impressive creativity when facing Costa Rica.

Tanner Tessmann from Lyon emerges as a strong candidate to replace Cardoso in midfield. The 23-year-old player has already proven his capabilities when facing Jamaica in the quarter-finals.

For the attacking lineup, Vancouver Whitecaps striker Brian White offers a reliable option off the bench. His goal-scoring experience in the Concacaf Champions Cup— adds value to the 29-year-old player’s credentials.

Meanwhile, at left-back, Columbus Crew’s Max Arfsten is a potential replacement for Robinson. His versatility as a wingback makes the 23-year-old a good fit for Pochettino’s tactical system.
