Umar Nurmagomedov seeks rematch with Merab Dvalishvili

UFC bantamweight fighter Umar Nurmagomedov expressed his desire for a rematch against Merab Dvalishvili during an interview with Adam Zubayraev on Red Corner MMA.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s cousin experienced a performance decline in the second round — caused by a broken left hand sustained in the first round of the fight.

“I want a rematch. I want to prove that my broken hand was a factor, that this fight could have ended differently,” stated Nurmagomedov.

Despite his rematch ambitions, the Dagestani fighter needs to collect several victories first — before becoming eligible for another title shot opportunity.
