UEFA Club Rankings 2025

UEFA Club Rankings 2025

UEFA has officially released its 2025 European club rankings based on the accumulated coefficients over the past five seasons across the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League. While there are no surprises at the top—Real Madrid remains the king of Europe—the spotlight shifts to Paris Saint-Germain, who have broken into the top five after claiming their first-ever Champions League title. Meanwhile, Barcelona drop out of the top 10 for the first time since 2003.

Real Madrid, having consistently reached the latter stages of the Champions League in recent years, retain their position at the summit with 140.000 UEFA coefficient points. They are followed closely by Manchester City (137.750) and Bayern Munich (128.750) to complete the top three. Liverpool, who reached this season’s Champions League semifinals, strengthened their grip on fourth place.

But the biggest climber this year is Paris Saint-Germain. The French club made a remarkable leap to fifth place following their historic Champions League triumph in the 2024/2025 season. The massive point gain from winning the title propelled them to 104.000 total points.

Finalists Inter Milan also rose in the rankings and now sit in sixth place (101.750 points), just ahead of domestic rivals AS Roma (101.500 points), who continued their strong form in the Europa League.

Additional Notes:

  • Barcelona slip to 11th place (93.250 points), dropping out of the European elite.
  • Manchester United rank 13th, behind RB Leipzig at 12th.
  • Arsenal come in at 14th, followed by Portugal’s Benfica in 15th.

These rankings are more than just a badge of honor. A club’s UEFA coefficient directly impacts seeding status in next season’s Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League draws. The higher the ranking, the greater the chance of being placed in a more favorable group.

The 2024/2025 season has redrawn the map of European football. PSG have finally joined the elite, Inter and Roma have proven their consistency, while former giants like Barcelona and Manchester United appear to be losing their footing. Is this the beginning of a new era? Or merely a temporary shake-up on the continent?

Next season will reveal the answers. But for now, Real Madrid still reign supreme—and PSG have finally earned their place at the table of kings.
