Tyloo Splash 2025

Chinese esports organization Tyloo has completed the transfer of young Indonesian star Moses “Splash” Jonathan, as they are taking a key step in their ongoing squad revitalization plan.

The 18-year-old hot prospect was acquired from the RRQ Academy team, where he last competed in the VCT Challengers ID circuit. He was the team’s second-youngest player, only behind Lionel “Iceyyy” Zi Hao, who recently turned 17.

Although his performances rarely garnered mainstream attention from the wider Valorant community, Splash had several standout appearances as a dedicated duelist for RRQ Academy and in scrims with players from the senior squad. Unfortunately, the academy team’s overall results remained subpar compared to their competitors, who also fielded young talent.

Tyloo’s interest in bringing Splash to China reinforces a growing trend of young Valorant talent from Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia, attracting interest from major organizations. At such a young age, Splash has the potential to follow in the footsteps of other internationally recognized Indonesian pros such as Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha and Jason “f0rsaken” Susanto.

Not Tyloo’s first Indonesian talent

Splash is not the first Indonesian talent to catch Tyloo’s eye, Many Indonesian probably have associated the organization with Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand (now playing for Alter Ego), who was a crucial part of the organization, specifically in its CSGO division.

At just 21, BnTeT’s move to Tyloo was a surprise transfer, and he quickly shocked on the international stage. He led the team to victory in major Chinese tournaments like the China Cup 2017, ROG Master 2017, and the Asian Development League 2018, while also helping them qualify for prestigious events like the Intel Extreme Masters Series and Dreamhack.

Despite the team’s subsequent inconsistent results, BnTeT proved his resilience, maintaining his sharp mechanics and consistent performance in high-stakes matches. The youngster Splash now has the potential to replicate his compatriot’s success and propel Tyloo to the highest tiers of competition in the upcoming season.

In the near future, Splash will join his new teammates to compete in the Valorant China Evolution Series Act 3. This will be a valuable experience for the rookie, as he is set to face off powerhouse teams like BiliBili Gaming, Wolves Esports, and EDward Gaming starting 29 August.
