Two Persib Players Miss Out on Indonesia U-23 Squad for ASEAN Cup

According to PSSI’s official announcement via Instagram @timnasindonesia, coach Gerald Vanenburg has finalized 30 players for Indonesia’s U-23 national team in preparation for the 2025 ASEAN Cup.

Muhammad Rhaka Syafaka Bilhuda and Fitrah Maulana Muhammad Ridwan — two Persib Bandung players — were not included in the final list released today.

“PSSI has called up five Persib players for the Indonesia U23 National Team training camp in Jakarta, June 20-July 14, 2025,” stated Persib’s announcement yesterday.

Previously, Persib announced five of their players were called up to the national team, including:

• Kakang Rudianto
• Robi Darwis
• Muhammad Rhaka Syafaka Bilhuda
• Fitrah Maulana Muhammad Ridwan
• Putra Sheva Sanggasi

Of these five names, only three Persib players ultimately made it to the final list for the training camp in Jakarta.
