Two Indonesian women’s doubles pairs downgraded in BWF World Tour

Two Indonesian women’s doubles pairs — Apriyani Rahayu/Febi Setianingrum and Rachel Allessya Rose/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari — have been downgraded in BWF World Tour competitions.

Both pairs will not participate in tournaments above BWF World Tour Super 500 level — their focus will shift to Super 500 and Super 300 tournaments. As part of this decision, they have also been withdrawn from Japan Open 2025.

Olympic gold medalist Greysia Polii shared her insights about doubles dynamics — particularly regarding the Apriyani and Febi partnership with their age and experience differences.

“Every doubles game has its uniqueness. Because you have to unite two people, two minds into one vision,” Greysia told Antara.
