Indonesian men’s doubles, Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana, will meet Taiwanese pair — Lee Fang Chih/Lee Fang Jen in the Swiss Open 2025 round of 16, a pair they just defeated last week at All England.

The pair of Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Muhammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani also advanced to round of 16 after defeating Irish duo — Declan Bennett/Richard Kong with a decisive score of 21-6 Lee Fang Jen, 21-11.

“We must admit the opponents weren’t too strong yet, so in this first round, we used it to adapt to court conditions and shuttlecock. Thankfully, everything went smoothly,” said Sabar.

“There were no issues on court today, no wind draft inside the venue and shuttlecock condition was normal so everything was fine,” added Reza.

Both Indonesian pairs have a chance to meet in the quarterfinals — repeating their semifinal encounter at All England last week, with the potential for All Indonesian Semifinal at Swiss Open 2025.
