Tundra Esports Defends Title in Blast Slam 3

Tundra Esports has silenced doubts of the Dota 2 community by defending their Blast Slam championship title in its third edition, defeating Team Falcons 3-1 in last night’s grand finals (11/5) and claiming the grand prize of $400,000.

Both teams showcased equally strong performances during the group stage, earning favor from fans and analysts. However, Tundra entered the finals as a slight favorite, thanks to their history of mental resilience in high-stakes tournaments. In contrast, Falcons faced scrutiny over their inconsistent form despite almost no substantial change over the same period.

The predictions held true as Tundra dominated the finals with minimal resistance. The stellar play of duo Remco “Crystallis” Arets and Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov secured two swift victories for Tundra, wrapping up the first two games in just 78 minutes combined.

Falcons fought back with aggressive tactics in Game 3, narrowing the gap. However, their momentum faltered as Tundra sealed the series in the final game with a draft that crippled Falcons’ late-game potential.

After an intense 55-minute battle, Tundra closed out the decisive match, securing their second Blast Slam championship. This victory marked a triumphant milestone for Crystallis, who claimed his first major title since winning ESL One Bangkok in December 2024.
