Tristan Raisa injured ahead of U-17 national team’s Asian Cup opener

According to Kita Garuda, Indonesia U-17 national team coach Nova Arianto confirmed the injury of key player Tristan Raisa ahead of their Group C opener at the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup.

The Young Garuda squad will face South Korea at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium, Jeddah — a match that will mark the beginning of their tournament campaign.

“Tristan is an important player for us, but the situation requires us to prepare other options,” stated Nova Arianto.

The Semarang-born coach confirmed he has prepared replacement players — a strategy necessary to face the challenge against strong South Korean team.

“All players must be ready so whoever replaces Tristan can perform at their best,” added Nova Arianto.
