Trent Alexander-Arnold Tinggalkan Liverpool Akhir Musim Ini

According to ESPN, Trent Alexander-Arnold has decided to leave Liverpool on a free transfer at the end of this season — turning down a contract offer that would have made him one of the highest-paid defenders in the world.

The England international has spent 20 years at Liverpool, joining the club at the age of six. During his time at Anfield, Alexander-Arnold made 349 appearances and won seven major trophies, before being appointed vice-captain around two years ago.

“This wasn’t an easy decision, and it came with a lot of thought and emotion. I’ve been here 20 years, loved every minute, and fulfilled all my dreams,” said Alexander-Arnold.

Contract negotiations between Liverpool and the 26-year-old began last year under Jurgen Klopp and continued after the arrival of new head coach Arne Slot. Despite productive talks and a lucrative salary offer, Alexander-Arnold opted to move on.

Real Madrid are reportedly confident of securing Alexander-Arnold’s signature, with the player set to reunite with England national team teammate Jude Bellingham. He reportedly informed Slot of his decision last month.
