Trent Alexander-Arnold chooses legendary jersey number at Real Madrid

Trent Alexander-Arnold has officially joined Real Madrid from Liverpool — the club announced the transfer in late May 2025.

Los Blancos have reached an agreement with Liverpool to acquire the England national team wing-back with a six-year contract until June 30, 2031.

“Real Madrid and Liverpool have agreed to bring Alexander-Arnold for the next six seasons, from June 1, 2025 until June 30, 2031,” stated the official club announcement.

Although the transfer announcement was made in late May — Alexander-Arnold’s jersey number was only revealed when the club released their squad list for the 2025 Club World Cup, where he will wear number 12.
