Trent Alexander-Arnold Announces Departure from Liverpool

Liverpool defender, Trent Alexander-Arnold, announced his departure from the club via social media — a decision he called the hardest of his career.

Unlike Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, who chose to stay with the Premier League champions this season, the 26-year-old defender will end his tenure at Anfield after his contract expires.

“There’s no doubt that this is the hardest decision I’ve ever made in my life,” wrote Alexander-Arnold. “After 20 years at Liverpool, the time has come for me to confirm that I will be leaving the club at the end of this season.”

The England national team player is reportedly set to continue his career with Spanish giants — Real Madrid.
