Tragedy at Magny Cours Circuit – Honda Laglisse rider dies during free practice

According to Crash.net, a tragic incident occurred at the Nevers Magny Cours Circuit, France — rider Borja Gomez suffered a fatal accident during the Stock European Championship free practice session.

The 20-year-old Honda Laglisse rider was involved in a single crash and was hit by another rider from behind — which resulted in his death.

Prior to this incident, Gomez showed impressive performance by leading the championship standings — thanks to second podium in Estoril and victory in Jerez.

Gomez’s track record includes experience in various prestigious championships:
