Tottenham Hotspur will host Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the first leg of the Europa League semifinal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium — a vital match seen as their last hope to end a 17-year trophy drought.

Manager Ange Postecoglou faces a major challenge as captain Heung-min Son remains sidelined with a foot injury. Mathys Tel is expected to cover the left wing, while Radu Dragusin, Antonin Kinsky, Sergio Reguilon, and Timo Werner are also unavailable.

Bodo/Glimt arrive with a giant-killing reputation after eliminating:

  • FC Porto
  • Besiktas
  • Lazio

The visitors, however, are not without issues — Patrick Berg and Hakon Evjen are suspended due to yellow card accumulation, while Andreas Helmersen is serving a ban.

“I hope the players don’t overthink the moment and can just play their game. We’re on a journey to build identity in every match, home or away — even against strong teams,” said the Bodo/Glimt head coach.

The match kicks off at 8:00 PM local time on Thursday, with José María Sánchez Martínez of Spain appointed as the referee.
