Tottenham agree £55 million deal to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with West Ham United for the transfer of Mohammed Kudus for £55 million — as confirmed by ESPN sources.

The Ghanaian international midfielder has agreed to a six-year contract and will undergo medical examination in the next 48 hours. Previously, West Ham rejected Spurs’ £50 million offer for Kudus.

Kudus — who joined West Ham from Ajax about two years ago — has an £85 million release clause that can only be activated by other Premier League clubs. However, West Ham were willing to let him go for a lower fee.

The 24-year-old player has impressed with The Hammers, recording 19 goals and 13 assists from 80 appearances. Kudus became the main target of new Spurs manager Thomas Frank for this summer transfer window.
