Toprak Razgatlioglu joins Pramac Yamaha for 2026 MotoGP season

Pramac Yamaha has announced the recruitment of WSBK champion Toprak Razgatlioglu for the 2026 MotoGP season — a move that has caught the attention of MotoGP legend Jorge Lorenzo.

The 28-year-old Turkish rider brings impressive credentials to the Yamaha satellite team — two World Superbike championship titles secured in 2021 and 2024.

Despite lacking MotoGP experience, Razgatlioglu has a special connection with Yamaha — he managed to break Jonathan Rea’s six-year consecutive dominance with Kawasaki when claiming his first WSBK title with the Pata Yamaha team.

Currently, Razgatlioglu remains focused on defending his world title with the BMW Motorrad team in World Superbike before beginning his new adventure in motorcycle racing’s premier class.
