Toni Kroos believes Luka Modric can still shine at AC Milan

Former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has expressed his confidence that Luka Modric can still demonstrate quality performances for AC Milan despite approaching 40 years of age.

Real Madrid has confirmed the Croatian player’s departure through an official statement on the club website.

“Real Madrid and captain Luka Modric have decided to end the player’s extraordinary period at the club after the Club World Cup starting June 18 in the United States,” the club stated.

The creative midfielder who has served Los Blancos for 13 years since 2012 — will end his tenure after the 2025 Club World Cup tournament. Speculation about Modric’s future points to a possible move to Serie A giants AC Milan.
