TNT Ready to Take Over NASCAR Summer Season with Five Exciting Races

Following Prime Video’s successful broadcast of five NASCAR Cup Series races, TNT — part of the new $7.7 billion broadcast deal — is set to take over coverage for five summer races.

TNT’s race lineup begins with a night race in Atlanta on June 28, followed by two road circuits — Chicago Street Course and Sonoma Raceway. The competition then continues to Dover’s ‘Monster Mile’ and concludes with the prestigious Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The commentary team remains unchanged — Dale Earnhardt Jr., Adam Alexander, and Steve Letarte will lead the broadcast. All races will be simulcast on TNT and HBO Max, while practice and qualifying sessions will be available on Max and truTV.

Another interesting feature — truTV will air a special ‘altcast’ during Cup races, focusing on this season’s $1 million bracket challenge. This program will be hosted by Larry McReynolds — Daytona 500-winning crew chief and Jeff Burton — 21-time NASCAR Cup Series winner.

After TNT’s series concludes, NBC Sports will take over NASCAR Cup Series broadcasts for the remainder of the season.
