Three South Korean Red Sparks Players Ready for U-21 World Volleyball Championship

Three Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks players will strengthen the South Korean national team at the U-21 World Volleyball Championship 2025 taking place in Surabaya and Gresik, East Java.

Gwak Seon-ok, Jeon Da-bin, and Shin Eun-ji — who last season played alongside Indonesian player Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi — will represent their country in the tournament starting August 7.

The three Red Sparks players have been part of the South Korean women’s national volleyball team since appearing in the 2024 Asian U-20 Volleyball Championship — a tournament that led them to third place and secured their ticket to the World Championship.

Besides the Red Sparks trio, several players from other Korean League clubs will also join the South Korean squad in this tournament.
