Three Naturalized Players Join Indonesian Women’s National Team

Coach Satoru Mochizuki revealed the inclusion of three naturalized player candidates in the Indonesian Women’s National Team training camp — preparation for the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers.

The Garuda Pertiwi squad is placed in Group D alongside:

  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Chinese Taipei
  • Pakistan

The training camp that began two weeks ago involved 30 players — combining senior team and U-19 national team members. Mochizuki has completed the selection of 23 final players who are now awaiting official announcement from PSSI.

This intensive preparation started earlier considering the absence of regular women’s football competition — necessitating extended training time before the tournament begins later this month.
