Three Indonesian pairs withdraw from Japan Open 2025

PBSI has confirmed the withdrawal of three Indonesian representatives from the Japan Open 2025 tournament at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium — a BWF World Tour Super 750 event scheduled for July 15-20.

The three pairs who have withdrawn are:

• Women’s doubles Apriyani Rahayu/Febi Setianingrum
• Women’s doubles Meilysa Trias Puspitasari
• Mixed doubles Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil

PBSI Head of Public Relations, Yuni Kartika, has confirmed these withdrawals, though specific reasons behind this decision have not been disclosed.

Despite the reduced contingent, the new men’s doubles partnership of Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri will proceed with their planned debut at this prestigious tournament.
