Three Indonesian clubs announce squad changes ahead of new season

Three Indonesian football clubs — Bali United, PSIM Yogyakarta, and Borneo FC — have announced significant changes to their squads ahead of the new competitive season.

Bali United has appointed Johnny Jansen as their new coach — replacing Stefano Cugurra. The club has brought in four new players: Joao Ferrari, Rizky Dwi, Thijmen Goppel, and Mike Hauptmeijer. Meanwhile, 14 players have left the club including Adilson Maringa and Mitsuru Maruoka.

PSIM Yogyakarta has appointed Jean Paul van Gastel as head coach and strengthened the team with 13 new recruits — including Nermin Haljeta, Ze Valente, and Andi Irfan.

Borneo FC has followed suit by appointing Fabio Lefundes as their new coach. The club has brought in 10 new players, including Mohammad Al-Husseini, Maicon Souza, and Juan Villa.
