According to Bayern Munich’s official website, Thomas Mueller and the club have reached an agreement to end their cooperation at the end of this season — a decision that marks the end of a legendary era at the Bavarian club.

The 35-year-old midfielder has carved out remarkable achievements with Die Roten — becoming World Cup champion, two-time treble winner, and holding the appearance record with a total of 33 trophies.

Mueller began his journey at Bayern Munich’s academy at age 10, climbing through the youth ranks to senior level. Born on September 13, 1989, he started his senior career with Bayern Munich II in 2007 — a year later advancing to the first team under Juergen Klinsmann’s guidance.

Since making his debut in August 2008 and signing his first professional contract in early 2009, Mueller has shown extraordinary loyalty — never once leaving the club and becoming a regular starter since the 2009-2010 season.
