Thomas Frank officially appointed as new Tottenham Hotspur manager

According to the club’s official website, Tottenham Hotspur has appointed Thomas Frank as their new head coach — replacing Ange Postecoglou who was surprisingly dismissed.

This controversial decision was made despite Postecoglou recently ending the club’s 17-year trophy drought by winning Europa League this season — defeating Manchester United 1-0 in the final at San Mames, Bilbao.

Spurs’ position just one place above the relegation zone in the Premier League became the main reason for Postecoglou’s dismissal — erasing all achievements he had accomplished with Son Heung-min and teammates.

Frank, the 51-year-old Danish coach who is still under contract with Brentford until 2027 — was chosen due to his extensive experience in English football.
