Thomas Frank Leaves Brentford to Take Charge of Tottenham Hotspur

Thomas Frank officially departs Brentford to take on new duties as Tottenham Hotspur manager, replacing Ange Postecoglou who was dismissed last week.

The Danish coach started his journey at Brentford as assistant manager in 2016 — before being promoted to head coach two years later. His greatest achievement was leading the club to Premier League promotion for the first time in their history.

“The time has come for me to move on. But, even as I leave, I know I have left a big piece of my heart at Brentford, not just at the football club but with the community and loyal supporters,” Frank stated in his announcement.

Under Frank’s guidance, Brentford maintained their Premier League status and nearly secured European competition qualification last season — before ultimately finishing in 10th place.

“Whatever we have achieved, we have achieved together. Our success is built on unity, spirit, courage and ambition at every level of the club and amongst the fans,” he added while expressing special gratitude to club owner Matthew Benham for the trust placed in him.
