The Brazilian champions opened the scoring through German Cano in the third minute — then secured the win with Hercules’ goal in injury time.

Fluminense’s solid defense under Thiago Silva’s command successfully contained Inter Milan’s attacks — limiting the Italian side to just four shots on target from 16 attempts.
