Thailand prepares 14 players to face Indonesia in AVC Nations Cup 2025

Thailand men’s national volleyball team has prepared 14 players for the upcoming AVC Nations Cup 2025 tournament.

The competition will take place at Isa Bin Rashed Hall, Manama — where Thailand will compete in Group A alongside Indonesia and host nation Bahrain.

The tournament, previously known as AVC Challenge Cup, will feature 11 Asian nations and run from June 17-24, 2025.

The Volleyball Nations League qualification system has undergone changes — no longer through tournaments but based on world rankings, where each victory in the AVC Nations Cup will affect team ranking points.

This tournament also paves the way to:

• Asian Championship 2026
• World Championship 2027
• Los Angeles Olympics 2028

Indonesia faces significant challenges in this group — considering Thailand and Bahrain were finalists in the 2023 AVC Challenge Cup.
