The SEA V League defending champions performed below expectations — making numerous errors from the start of the match. Kissada Nilsawai and his teammates struggled to build solid defense, while Anurak Phanram’s signature serves were effectively contained by the home team.

Ali Khamis Ebrahim emerged as the star of the match by collecting 15 points — consisting of 13 attacks and 2 blocks for Bahrain.
