According to Bolasport.com, Khonhan Amornthep led Thailand to victory over Philippines in the AVC Nations Cup 2025 playoff match at Isha Sport City Hall, Manama, Bahrain.

Park Ki-won‘s team — which previously failed to advance from the group stage — dominated the match by defeating Philippines in straight sets with scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-18.

Thailand’s group stage elimination came after suffering two consecutive losses — falling 3-1 to host nation Bahrain and succumbing 3-2 to Indonesia in the decisive match.

Anurak Phanram and his teammates now prepare to face New Zealand to determine their final ranking in this tournament.
