Team Vitality Head Coach Shares Secret to Win MWI x EWC 2025

Team Vitality MLBB Head Coach Ilyas “Caesius” Rahmanda recently revealed a key weakness in their opponent’s strategy that his players exploited to win the MWI x EWC 2025 final last Saturday (19/07).

Led by captain Vivi “Vivian” Indrawaty, Vitality impressed throughout the tournament with remarkable consistency. They capped it off by sweeping the underdog finalists, Gaimin Gladiators, with a decisive 4-0 victory.

This result surprised many viewers, as GG was expected to put up more of a fight. However, Caesius explained they identified a critical weakness that made GG predictable.

In a post-final livestream session, he highlighted GG’s over-reliance on the new hero, Zetian. Caesius argued Zetian is too easy to counter in high-level professional play and lacks a significant power spike. He even advised his own team against using the hero.

He further stated that after watching other Indonesian pro players, he agrees many heroes are more effective than Zetian – even if it means narrowing their hero pool. Consequently, he taught his team to limit their pool and focus on mastering their core heroes.

This win was sweet revenge for Vitality who missed out on the title last year after a surprising finals loss to Smart Omega Empress. Caesius has another major job coming, as this Vitality roster is set to represent the Indonesian Women’s National MLBB Team at the upcoming SEA Games 2025 in Thailand and defend their Southeast Asian pride.
