Team Vitality Breaks Astralis’ Historic Win Streak

The Counter-Strike esports giant Team Vitality has finally broken Astralis’ historic record with their latest victory at the recently concluded BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 tournament, which ended last Sunday (4/5).

In a grand final that saw them face off against their rivals, Team Falcons, in Denmark, Vitality closed it out with a final score of 3-2 after a fiercely intense battle. According to statistics, they have now secured five consecutive victories in major tournament circuits since the start of the 2025 season, surpassing Astralis’ four-win streak from 2018.

Furthermore, this figure also eclipses Team Liquid’s record for consecutive match wins, with Vitality now boasting 24 straight victories compared to Liquid’s 23. This achievement is only surpassed by Ninjas in Pyjamas’ legendary 60-win streak between 2012 and 2013.

The only remaining record yet to be toppled is Astralis’ ESL Grand Slam for most titles. However, given the current dominant form of The Hive squad, it seems only a matter of time before they accomplish this feat—before other teams catch up to their blistering performance.
