Team Liquid PH Head Coach Flags Sanz as the Player to Watch

The impressive plays of Onic ID star player Gilang “Sanz” have clearly sent a massive shockwave through the global competitive MLBB scene, as many have singled him out as a key player to watch for the upcoming MSC x EWC 2025, including SEA rival Team Liquid PH.

During a talk with Filipino MLBB legend Johnmar “OHMYV33NUS” Villaluna, TLPH head coach Rodel “Ar Sy” B.Cruz said he has watched the MPL ID S15 finals between Onic ID and RRQ Hoshi, and highlighted Sanz as a key player in that match.

Ar Sy praised Sanz as the current powerhouse of mid laner and considered him the true king of mage players. He also noted that Onic ID looks like a complete package with no obvious weaknesses so far.

“Right now, I think Sanz is the real king of mage. I can’t be biased here—it really is Sanz. And they (Onic ID) overall are a very strong team.”

The 29-year-old further stated Sanz is better than popular Filipino MLBB players like Frince “Super Frince” Ramirez or his own boy, Alston “Sanji” Pabico. Because of this, he feels TLPH must prepare solid strategies to counter Onic ID’s tactics at MSC x EWC 2025.

Both TLPH and Onic PH aim to bring glory back to the Philippines in this prestigious official Moonton tournament. The Filipino region hasn’t lifted the MSC trophy since their last victory in 2022.
