Team Falcons’ support Andreas “Cr1t” Nielsen opened up about the biggest challenge his team faces in this year’s competitive season, noting the improved performance of rival teams.

During a recent interview at PGL Wallachia Season 4, the Danish player reflected that Falcons’ dominance last season was partly due to a noticeable decline in the form of their opponents. For example, at last year’s Esports World Cup 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Falcons secured a third-place finish.

“A big part of our success in 2024 is that all the opponents have been mediocre. It was like there weren’t any good teams on Inte and Riyadh. In 2025, there’s more competition. All the teams are very good with a built up structure. It’s not easy to win tournaments now”

Cr1t further admitted that his team’s current performance has been inconsistent and cautioned his squad to take every opponent seriously. As of now, Falcons are closely trailing Parivision and Team Spirit in the provisional standings of PGL Wallachia Season 4.

Falcons are expected to make a deeper run in the competition, especially since they are fielding their full roster. Previously, they suffered an early exit from ESL One Raleigh 2025 after back-to-back playoff losses to Tundra Esports and BetBoom—two teams that had finished below them during the group stage.
