Tazz Blames Evos’ Poor Management for MPL ID Exit

Darrel “Tazz” Wijaya, a star player of Alter Ego MLBB and former member of Evos’ main squad, recently commented on his former team’s continued poor performance in MPL ID Season 15.

As it stands, Evos has repeated last season’s disappointment by failing to qualify for the MPL ID S15 playoffs after failing to secure important series in Week 8. Now they stuck in seventh place—the elimination zone—and cannot climb up even if they win their remaining matches in the final week.

The legendary MPL ID team’s struggles have led fans and professionals to question their commitment and discipline, especially after a promising start in the first three weeks of the Regular Season. According to Tazz, the decline stems largely from poor management.

During a recent social media livestream, the 19-year-old jungler revealed that Evos’ management had abandoned its strict trial process for the main MLBB squad over the past year and failed to maintain active communication with players and coaches. He believes this created discomfort among the team, leading many members—including himself—to lose motivation to contribute fully.

“I’ve always criticized the management. I just don’t like their (Evos) management team. Age left for the same reason—you know what went wrong there.

My issue isn’t with the people there; they’re my friends. It’s like working with people you like but hating the job itself. Even if you try your best, you just can’t.”

Tazz’s remarks reflect his own experience as a key player for Evos from September 2021 until early 2024. However, he was unexpectedly kicked out from the Blue Tigers’ squad and transferred to Alter Ego ahead of Season 13.

This has drawn criticism from loyal fans and professionals alike, many of whom mock Evos’ management for selling their key player to rival team.
