Taylor Hinds Departs Liverpool Women After Five-Year Spell

According to ESPN, Liverpool Women defender Taylor Hinds has officially ended her career with the club following contract expiration — currently in discussions to join Arsenal.

Hinds, who served as vice-captain, joined Liverpool from Everton five years ago — contributing to the team’s success in securing the Women’s Championship title in the 2021-22 season. During her Liverpool career, she made 131 appearances across all competitions and became the third-highest appearance maker in the Women’s Super League era.

“I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me feel so welcome when I joined in 2020. We’ve shared some incredible highs that I’ll never forget — being promoted back into the WSL and the 2022 parade which was one of the best days of my life,” Hinds wrote in her farewell message.

“Being given the opportunity to lead the team out was an absolute honour and a moment of real pride. To my teammates over the years, some of you have become my friends for life,” she added.

Hinds concluded her message by expressing pride in being part of Liverpool Women and wearing the club shirt — describing her experience as a true privilege.
