Talon Esports and DRX Feud Rocked VCT Pacific 2025

A shocking scene was captured live during the lower bracket quarterfinals of the VCT Pacific 2025: Stage 1, which pitted Talon Esports against DRX last Sunday (4/5). Talon Esports’ head coach was reportedly frustrated amid suspicions of unsportsmanlike conduct by the opposing team.

At the start of the match, both teams walked onto the stage and exchanged greetings as per the tournament’s routine. However, Talon’s head coach, Hector “Frost” Rosario, who was supposed to shake hands with DRX’s Pyeon “termi” Seon-ho, ignored him and instead glared at the opposing coach with visible irritation.

The match ended in a decisive loss for Talon, with scores of 4-13 on Icebox and 12-14 on Fracture. Mirroring the pre-game tension, Frost again refused to shake hands with termi afterward. This quickly drew attention from viewers and sparking speculation of a feud between the two coaches.

According to comments from professionals in the VCT circuit, Frost’s frustration reportedly stems from his belief that termi, the South Korean coach, frequently shared recordings of scrims between professional teams. The American claims this gave opposing teams an unfair tactical advantage.

DRX’s management responded to the allegations, asserting that all scrim results are handled with full confidentiality to maintain fair competition. However, conflict between the two coaches appeared unresolved and lingered even after the post-match Q&A session at the event.
