Taiwan women’s coach confident of beating Indonesia in decisive match

Taiwan women’s coach Chan Hiu Ming has expressed confidence in defeating Indonesia’s national team in their decisive 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifier match at Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang.

Taiwan secured a 3-0 victory over Kyrgyzstan in their second Group D match — building on momentum after their commanding 8-0 win against Pakistan in the opening game.

“I’m pleased with the performance and results, we’ve completed two matches with a good goal aggregate, which will put pressure on Indonesia and Pakistan,” Chan Hiu Ming told the media.

While acknowledging that securing victories hasn’t been easy, the Taiwan women’s coach appreciated his team’s consistent performance in their last two matches.
