Syahrul Trisna joins Borneo FC as young goalkeeper mentor

Syahrul Trisna has officially joined Borneo FC Samarinda — the club hopes his experience will help develop promising young goalkeepers in the team.

“With his experience as Indonesia National Team goalkeeper, Syahrul Trisna is expected to help develop potential young goalkeepers in Borneo FC Samarinda squad,” stated the club’s official announcement.

The former PSIS Semarang goalkeeper has recorded seven appearances for the Indonesia national team since his debut against Cambodia in ASEAN Cup 2020. His presence at Borneo FC marks a strategic move for the club in preparation for the upcoming competitive season.

“The signing of Syahrul Trisna becomes a strategic step for Borneo FC Samarinda in preparing for the new season,” the statement added.
