According to Wales Online, Swansea City has decided to appoint Alan Sheehan as caretaker manager until the end of the 2024/25 season — creating uncertainty for Indonesian National Team defender Nathan Tjoe-A-On.

This decision comes after the club failed to find a permanent replacement for Luke Williams, who was dismissed two months ago — leaving the team to complete their remaining eight Championship fixtures under temporary leadership.

Despite the international break passing, management has not secured a permanent coaching candidate — forcing Sheehan to continue his duties. The Irish coach acknowledged his current position.

“I’m sure there are many people who want this job. At the moment, I’m the person who’s been put in place to lead until the end of the season,” stated Sheehan.

With Sheehan at the helm for the remainder of the season, Swansea City players, including Tjoe-A-On — ace an uncertain future as they await a long-term managerial appointment that could impact squad selections and tactical approaches moving forward.
