Susanto and Barki Claim Second Victory at Bali Men’s Tennis

Bali, July 24, 2025 — Indonesian doubles team Anthony Susanto and Nathan Barki continued their impressive campaign at the Amman Men’s World Tennis Championship 2025, earning their second straight victory at the tournament in Bali. The win not only reinforces their rising status on the international stage but also reflects Indonesia’s growing presence in global men’s tennis.

On Thursday, the duo delivered a dominant performance, demonstrating sharp coordination, quick reflexes, and strong communication throughout the match. With this win, they are now well-positioned to advance further into the tournament.

“This is an important moment for us. The support from the home crowd has been incredible, and we’re proud to represent Indonesia on this international stage,” said Anthony Susanto after the match.

Nathan Barki highlighted their growing chemistry as a team.

“We’re getting more synchronized with each match. We know each other’s movements well now, and that gives us an edge.”

Their effort didn’t go unnoticed by the coaching team. National team coach Ricky Fitrianto, who has been closely guiding their development, praised their consistency and focus.

“Anthony and Nathan have matured significantly over the past year. They’re not just playing well—they’re reading the game, adapting under pressure, and showing the mental toughness required at this level,” Coach Ricky said.

“This tournament is a great test, and so far they’re rising to the challenge.”

The Amman Men’s World Tennis Championship, held in Bali for the first time, brings together top-ranked international players and rising stars. For Indonesia, the tournament is not just a chance to host world-class tennis but also a platform for local talent to shine.

Tournament director Arif Gunawan also expressed optimism about the impact of such events.

“Hosting this championship is part of our long-term vision to elevate Indonesian tennis. The performance of Anthony and Nathan is inspiring and shows that we can be competitive on the world stage,” Arif said.

With their momentum building and crowd support growing stronger, Susanto and Barki have become one of the most watched pairs in the tournament. As they prepare for their next match, fans and officials alike are hoping to witness a deep run—perhaps even a historic podium finish on home soil.
