Stefano Cugurra to Leave Bali United at End of May 2025

Stefano Cugurra, head coach of Bali United, has officially announced his departure from the club with five matches remaining in the Liga 1 2024/2025 season.

Throughout his tenure with the Serdadu Tridatu, the coach — popularly known as Teco — recorded an impressive 97 wins, 41 draws, and 50 defeats in 188 matches.

A decline in team performance over the past two seasons has been cited as the main reason for the decision, with the official exit set for May 2025.

Two Liga 1 clubs have expressed interest in signing Stefano Cugurra — Persija Jakarta and Persebaya Surabaya, both of which he had previously managed in 2017 and 2003 respectively.
