Stanley Mills: Indonesian Fan Enthusiasm Surpasses England

Oxford United midfielder Stanley Mills shared his deep impressions of Indonesian football during a coaching clinic session at Soemantri Broadjonegoro Stadium, Jakarta.

Ole Romeny’s teammate — who is visiting Indonesia for the first time with the Oxford United squad for the 2025 President’s Cup — was struck by the significant differences he found.

“The greatest advantage of Indonesian football is the incredible enthusiasm from supporters — something we don’t even find in England as the birthplace of modern football,” said Mills.
